Refund and Cancellation

This page summarises the cancellation and refund provisions in the Maria Systems Terms of Service. A separately signed agreement or applicable Order Form governs where it overrides these provisions.

Policy

Setup fees
Setup fees are refundable before client-specific configuration or implementation work begins. Once that work has started, setup fees are non-refundable, subject to applicable mandatory law. Implementation means actual work configuring the client’s agreed service; sending a blank onboarding or configuration questionnaire alone does not constitute implementation.

Monthly subscription fees
A client may request a full refund of a monthly subscription payment within 72 hours after that payment is successfully collected. This applies to the initial monthly payment and each monthly renewal. Requests received after that window are non-refundable for that billing period, except where required by applicable law. Eligibility depends on when the request is received, not when Maria Systems responds. The monthly refund window does not make a non-refundable setup fee refundable.

Cancellation
Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice unless a separately signed agreement or Order Form specifies a different term. Cancellation does not itself create a refund entitlement. A timely monthly refund request is assessed separately from the cancellation notice period. If the current monthly payment is refunded, access for the refunded period ends. Otherwise, access continues through the paid service period, unless legitimately suspended for breach or security reasons.

Requests
Send cancellation and refund requests to contact@mariasystems.com, identifying the business and relevant payment. Do not include full payment-card details.

These provisions do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. A separately signed agreement or applicable Order Form prevails where it expressly provides different terms, subject to mandatory law.
